A rare sight in these parts, Black Fives 45407 and 45231 climb their way out of Insch heading for Aberdeen on the Great Britain 2 railtour. However looking forward to GB3 next year when we shall see Steam in the NE of Scotland once again. 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier was renumbered 45487 for this event and together with 61994 The Great Marquess looked magnificent. Both loco's were in fine form. A great pity the weather was'nt kind as the conditions started from dull gradually turning into nothing less than atrocious. But that's Lancashire for you.
