Heartbreak...With Oregon in field goal range to send the game to overtime, the Ducks get greedy and try for a touchdown. Demetrius Williams is open by the goal line, but OU LB Clint Ingram makes a great play on a pass that if only Brady Leaf had thrown a couple inches higher would have resulted in an unbelievable comeback Oregon win. Instead Oklahoma won 17-14.

Oregon RB Terrence Whitehead catches a screen pass from QB Brady Leaf and rumbles downfield for a huge gain setting up a potential comeback late in the 4th quarter vs. Oklahoma in the 2005 Holiday Bowl 12-29-2005. Unfortunately OU would intercept a pass on the goal line and win 17-14.

Spirit fell to the Windsor Spitfires 6-1 Saturday night at The Dow Event Center. Winger Josh Shalla contributed the lone Spirit goal while winger Jordan Szwarz and Michael Sgarbossa added an assist in the effort. The loss puts Saginaws record at 17-14-3-0 for 37 points on the season, and wraps up the first half of the teams 68-game regular season schedule.
