Mario has got to be the most famous gaming character ever. The character Mario was first seen on the year 1983 in an arcade game known as Donkey Kong. After donkey kong numerous versions of super mario games have been ported and released in different arcade systems and home based systems.

The gameplay of Mario is quite simple. You get to play as Mario or Luigi and you must go on an adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom destroying or avoiding all enemies and hurdles in your path. The main goal of the game is to rescue the princess Peach from the evil known as Bowser.

That was the main idea behind the game and since Mario is popular till now, these days the flash versions of the Mario Games are released every now and then. There are so many mario games these days that are created as a homage to the original Mario games by Nintendo. This shows that no matter how many new, advanced games are released people will never forget the original and probably the first game that they played and that game is none other than the Super Mario games.

Nintendo’s Super Mario is legendary.
This NES character is still making money on a daily basis and not slowing down.
From my own experience I can say that as a kid I was addicted and as an adult I don’t really deal with video games but I do sell a lot of NES merchandise, from belt buckles to wallets.
In one word “ICONIC”
