Context Explorer is a sidebar Firefox 2 or 3 plug-in that uses open-source desktop indexer Regain to automatically associate your local resources to the pages you’re browsing.

It’s part of a research project in contextualization of resources by Yves Jaques. The plug-in is a test bed to look at how we may be able to reduce the distance between the Internet and our desktops in a way that is effortless and self-adaptive.
