ABB Treasury Center is part of ABB group of companies. Its main activities include professional treasury management services for interest rates, foreign exchange, cash management, as well as coordination of banking relations for ABB Companies in the Asia Pacific region.

Treasury Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Handle the full spectrum of Accounting work
• Prepare and review the month-end closing of the books, monthly and quarterly assurance reporting for the Company
• Prepare annual, quarterly and other ad hoc submission to authorities
• Preparae tax filings and response to queries from Income Tax
• Manage and rationalize financial controls for the Company
• Maintain and update financial process documentation as required under the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)
• Prepare annual budget and forecast for the Company
• Prepare annual statutory accounts
• Liaise with internal (Head Office, Internal audit) and external counterparts (Auditor, Tax agent, IRAS, vendors)

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CPA
• Minimum 5 years experience with at least 2 years in an MNC environment with financial reporting experience
• Prior experience in bank accounting will also be considered
• Knowledge of financial instruments and its accounting is necessary
• Experience with US GAAP, local GAAP reporting & SOX compliance
• Experience using SAP and a Treasury management system would be an added advantage
• Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
• Mature, independent and able to work under pressure
