Traffic Controller

Location: Changi North Way, Singapore

5-day work week / Immediate

Responsibilities

• Focus on developing the network capabilities for a specific account in the specific geographical region of responsibility
• Run statistical reports and maintain data for customers and respective Key Account Managers.
• Support local project & operations teams in their relationship with the clients
• Ensure & follow up on the complete supply chain to the manufacturing plants
• Analysis of problems, trouble shooting with customer and responsible for any dispatch issues
• Ensure daily business with operations & provide regional support and training if necessary
• Check and control internal data from various Panalpina Offices and to be fully responsible for the quality of the data
• Actualize and update customer information
• Participate actively in regular reviews of accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and suggest necessary improvements and cost savings
• Monitoring of claims handling procedures
• Review traffics and work closely with various business units
• Assure proper information flow on changes and/or external customer issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline with 3 years’ freight experience (both air & sea)
• Fluent in both English & Mandarin
• Strong analytical skills
• IT product knowledge is advantageous
• Ability to execute responsibilities fast with accuracy
• Customer service oriented
• Initiative & self-motivated
• Independent & able to work under pressure
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
