Thermal Engineer – Mechanical systems AEM Singapore Pte Ltd

AEM HOLDINGS LTD is a SGX listed Company, primarily engaged in the design and manufacture of organic substrates, electronics manufacturing equipment, precision engineering products and electroplating chemicals for the micro-electronics industry. Currently AEM has 7 manufacturing plants located in Singapore, Malaysia and China.

Thermal Engineer – Mechanical systems

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for technology analysis and evaluation, product architecture and design, analysis, qualification and documentation of the thermal product part(s) to meet the performance, cost and reliability targets for the product(s).Follow-up on project schedules

Requirements:

Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role
A good degree/diploma with a strong mechanical engineering bias (including thermal principles. Thermodynamics, etc)
Use of a high end 3D CAD package is required (e.g. Solidworks, ProE, etc)
Familiarity with fluid and heat transfer based design and modeling tools to drive system level solutions
Ability to create complex thermal management concepts for new designs and test strategies to verify performance
Experience of heat exchanger design, thermal management systems, thermal modeling and mechanical design is expected
Candidates should be committed, motivated and able to pick up new technologies easily. The role will be require some overseas travel.
