Technical Support Engineer (Pre/Post Sales) Allot Communications

Technical Support Engineer (Pre/Post Sales) – Asia Pacific

Location: Singapore

Description:

To provide high level pre/post–sale technical support for Allot’s customers and partners in Asia Pacific, train and assist local partners, perform professional services and network audits and participate in the company’s worldwide support.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in IP network infrastructure/operations in service provider or large enterprise environment.
Strong background in IP technology.
Experience with network equipment (routers, firewalls, VPN devices and network management tools).
Operational experience with network management products such as HP Openview/MRTG/RRD/PRTG/Cacti.
Working with CRM or trouble ticketing system.
Linux/Unix administration proficiency and shell/perl scripting.
Experience in MS-SQL/Sybase/Oracle database administration with SQL scripting.
Experience in customer service.
Verbal and written communication skills, fluent mother-tongue-level English – mandatory
Excellent human relations, service orientation and patience.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
Selling and presentation skills.
Extensive travel requirements (may include weekends).
