SYSTEMS SUPPORT OFFICER

As a key member of the Information Technology department, this position is responsible for all aspects of user support and network administration including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain and support the network and systems infrastructure, including daily backup operations.
Provide end user support for desktop hardware, software and applications
Manage the company email systems
Keep track of IT assets

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Good working experience with Windows & Linux systems, networking and desktop support
Some experience in a Lotus Domino environment
Knowledge of backup software such as Symantec Backup Exec
Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors
