System Support Engineer

Job Descriptions:

The candidate will have to analyze and carry out remote system performance monitoring to the ALERT® suite of products installed in customers.
Primary responsibilities include implementing maintenance methodologies and procedures, monitoring and optimizing system performance.
He/she will have to perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ORACLE DB, application servers and systems and properly develop and maintain engineering documentation.
Decisions and work methods must comply with established procedures, workflows, practices and guidelines.

Requirements:

Degree in IT;
Experience in Windows/Linux (RedHat) and application/web server (Apache/Tomcat) administration;
2-3 years experience in ORACLE DB administration;
Thorough knowledge of PL/SQL;
2-3 years of hands-on experience in system support;
Experience in high-availability (24/7) system maintenance;
Excellent problem-solving skills with solution-driven focus;
Responsibility and good documentation and reporting skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English);
Willingness and availability to travel as needed.
