System Analyst (Java) – (Contract – 6 months to 1 year)

Requirements:

At least 3 years of related work experience for degree holder/ 2 years of related work experience for master holder
Possess good knowledge in software development lifecycle, web application programming (JSP, JS, Servlet), J2EE architecture, design pattern, SOA, database design, OODA and UML.
Possess good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Possess good planning and decision-making skills
Able to work in a team
Able to manage users on project requirement
Proficient in Java, Web programming, PL/SQL, J2EE, Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Database
Possess basic PLM and workflow engine knowledge

Duties & responsibilities:

Plan, execute, monitor and control the development of new features and requests
Coordinate with end user on requirement gathering and scope definition.
Familiarize job specifications and applicable software development standards and rules as well as change control procedures and processes
Assist manager on resource requirements and effort estimations
Perform quality control
Conduct User Acceptance Test
Support helpdesk on trouble shooting (Tier 4)
Assist manager in coordinating and monitoring outsourcing vendor’s works
Document technical specifications and requirement analysis specifications
Evaluate technical approaches and new technologies
Liaise with end users, outsourcing vendors on requirements
Resolve any issues with end users and outsourcing vendors on project related matters
Lead and mentor junior team members
Conduct knowledge sharing
