Staff Auditor / Senior Auditor

1. Staff Auditor

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the effective planning and execution of a wide range of internal audits throughout the company, usually as a member of an audit team. This includes responsibility for performing audit testing; effectively identifying, analyzing, and documenting accounting and control deficiencies; recommending cost effective solutions where appropriate.

Principal accountabilities include planning and organizing individual audit assignments, proper execution of field work, documenting testing, communicating audit findings and recommendations, and personal self-development through appropriate training activities.

2. Senior Auditor I

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the effective planning and execution of a wide range of internal audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits throughout the company. You will develop the initial audit plan and assume full on-the-job responsibility for satisfactory completion of assigned audits, including supervision of audit team members, independent execution of audit programs, adjustment of the audit approach, and communication of audit findings.

Requirements (for both positions):

This position requires considerable analytical proficiency in order to properly evaluate the adequacy of controls and procedures. You must be able to understand and apply accounting and auditing theories, procedures, and techniques and be able to effectively analyze relevant information to reach conclusions.

Degree in Business / Accounting or Finance
Master’s Degree in Business Administration and professional certification (CIA, CPA) are preferred.
For Staff Auditor position, minimum 2-3 years of public accounting or internal audit experience in MNC manufacturing environment a must. For senior auditor position, at least 3-5 years of experience required.
Experience and good knowledge of SOX implementation and tools.
Meticulous with strong analytical and report writing skills.
Effective team member/leader with good interpersonal skills who is able to work in a team environment.
Excellent oral and written English & Mandarin are essential attributes.
Fluency in other Asian languages, such as Thai or Bahasa is a plus.
Able and willing to travel extensively throughout Asia is mandatory.
Able to establish good working relationships and communicate audit issues effectively at all levels.
