Spray Painting & Secondary Process Manager

The Spray Painting & Secondary Manager is responsible for starting up new spray painting & secondary process operations. He is responsible for leading and managing the entire spray painting and secondary process department covering spray painting, laser marking, printing, ultrasonic welding, heat staking and other new surface finishing and assembly processes for the development of new products and the mass production in accordance to customer requirements.

Position Accountability:

• Start up new spray painting line
• Conceptualize and customize painting solution for customer
• Develop new secondary process like VM
• Lead in customer qualification and approval
• Establish best practice and operating standards
• Achieve on-time delivery per shipment schedule
• Improve paint and ink usage
• Drive quality improvement efforts
• Lead labor productivity improvement program
• Maximize machine utilization
• Establish good maintenance programs for production machines and tooling
• Ensure proper storage and handling of paint, ink and related chemical
• Establish training and development of operational staffs
• Ensure shop floor house keeping and promote 5S programs
• Deliver production reporting on labor productivity, process yield and defect breakdown
• Drive yield improvement and reject reduction
• Ensure ISO9000/ISO14000/RoHS compliance
• Ensure compliance of company rule and regulations by Production department
• Chair operation meeting to review and improve yield & productivity
• Responsible for corrective action report related to production issues
• Annual budget planning for production department

Position Requirement:

• 10 years experience spray painting and related secondary processes
• Degree or diploma holder from recognized institutions.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Trained in quality tools
• Based in Batam
• Ability to communicate in English
