Software Engineer

Requirements:

Must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required skills: C/C++/Java, XML/HTML/Javascipt, SQL/Oracle
Preferred skills: MS Office Access, MS Office Sharepoint (Web Parts, Forms, Enterprise Workflows)
Experience in embedded systems software development an advantage. Eg. Set Top Box software development.
Must have at least 2 years experience in .NET Technologies and Server/Client application development in IP network
Must have experience in developing and supporting custom software
Must be able to code, modify, test and document new and existing programs using assigned languages, tools and coding conventions
Experiences in embedded system development is an advantage

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with project members to clearly understand and scope out the project requirements
Assist project manager in establishing file structures and processing logic requirements
Develop applications, testing scripts and documentations
Integrate applications to an open-source platform with provided APIs
Troubleshooting and supporting end-users inthe im plementation and maitenance of application systems
