Shipping Manager Marco Polo Marine Limited

We are a growing integrated shipping group principally engaged in the ship chartering, transshipment services and shipyard businesses including ship building and ship repairing. Leveraging on the thriving economy of Singapore and the growing opportunities in the region, we seek to expand our market presence and customer base.

Shipping Manager

This is a strategically important role which includes but is definitely not limited to the following dimensions:

Manage vessel operations, inspection and control costs
Manage vessel clearance, crew sign-in and repatriation
Coordinate and monitor vessels’ turnaround
Crew recruitment, welfare and benefits, keep and update records
Familiar with and ensure statutory legal compliance for trading codes, class, insurance, safe and minimum manning rules
Responsible for surveys, certifications and charterers
Possess Deck Officer’s Class 2 certificate and/or minimum 3 years experience in marine operations
Responsible, independent with good communication and interpersonal skills and willing to travel
Class 3 driving license with own transport is an added advantage
