Shipping Coordinator

Reporting to Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing

• Coordinate with Sales and Warehouse Dept and Forwarders, to manage Sea Freight Export Shipments
• Trucking Freight (Trucking to Malaysia) Export Shipments
• Local Trucking Freight within Singapore
• Air Freight Export Shipments
• Prepare deliveries according instructions given by Sales Department.
• Prepare all shipping documents (Despatch Order (DO), Invoice, Packing List) for all sorts of deliveries
• Update Despatch Orders and Invoices in Inventory System.
• Filing of COC (Certificate of origin – provided by QA) before Shipment.
• Courier and faxing of shipping documents and other requested documents (like COC) to customers
• Monitor and follow up with delivery of shipment to customers.
• Handle Consignment Despatches
• Final Invoicing for consumed Consignment stock.
• Prepare Letter of Credit
• Prepare all shipment documents for LC shipment (Despatch Order, Invoice, Packing List, Cargo Insurance, Beneficiary Certificate)
• Filing of Documents after shipment
• Prepare all documents for re-invoicing business (LC, COC, Letter of Indemnity, DO, Invoice, Packing List)
• Ensure information flow to Sales department.
• Coordinate with External warehouses on daily delivery and pull out of material
• Assist Logistics Executive in Scrap Sales activities
• Data entry for freight cost control
• Assist Logistics executive in reporting and processing of Shipping Claims
• Coordinate collection of returned or rejected material from customer as instructed by
• Sales and / or QA (preparation of Material Collection Form)

Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ Level and minimum 2 years of experience in logistic/shipping
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good Team player with good ability to manage stress
• Knowledge of MS Excel/Word is a must, SAP will be an added advantage
