We have the following vacancy and would like to invite qualified candidates to apply.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The successful applicant will report directly to our Singapore based South East Asian Territory Manager. In addition s/he will maintain a close working relationship with Area Management, W&H headquarters and W&H group companies.

Principal Responsibility:

To operate and maintain the direct service operation at W&H Dental-Mechanik (Asia) Pte Ltd.

Job tasks include:

Make repairs on all W&H products sold into the Singapore market
Make repairs on regional OEM and Private Label partner products
Maintain W&H “Premium Service” standards in line with the W&H service philosophy
Maintain the daily direct service operation at W&H Dental-Mechanik (Asia) Pte Ltd. The operational considerations include;
o Company administration
o Fiscal accountability
o Logistics control
o Stock control
o Training and education
o Communication
o Maintaining W&H standards
Provide customer support
Coordinate the return of repaired items to Singaporean end users
Support IDS (Local W&H distributor) with installation and end user education
Provide commercial support where requested to the W&H sales activities ongoing in Singapore and in the region.
Provide regional troubleshooting, technical support and training either in Singapore or abroad
Where necessary attend regional dental trade exhibitions
Maintain close communication with Territory and Area Management
Other job tasks can be assigned

Requirements:

1 year working experience in service/repair work
Diploma in any Engineering subject or NTC/’O’ Level
Excellent communication skills in English
Must be self-motivated & professional
Singapore Citizen or PR
Possess own transport
