SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities:

Legally minimise tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations.
Improve/Automate tax processes and preparation of Singapore tax returns and related reports.
Prepare and review monthly and periodic tax calculations, estimates and reports for accruals and financial purposes, etc.
Partnering with country, regional and corporate finance, tax, legal, business and operations teams.
Oversee preparation of and review of GST reports and returns.
Active collaboration with internal and external tax and finance teams to resolve tax issues and exercises.

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications recognised by ICPAS
Minimum 3 years’ tax experience in Big 4 public accounting firm
Solid background in Singapore corporate tax compliance and GST
Knowledge of US accounting for income taxes (FAS 109) is an added advantage
Excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn the business and proactive in issue resolutions
