Due to expanding operations, we are looking for suitable candidates to join us in the following positions:-

Senior Recruiting Manager (for South East Asia)

Purpose of the Position:
To research, design, develop and implement staffing programs including, but not limited to: equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, recruitment advertising, recruiting related vendor reviews, recruiting and hiring activity benchmarking, analysis and process/policy documentation. May be assigned to assist managers in the achievement of exempt and non-exempt level hiring in assigned functional area(s), including planning, recruitment, offer negotiation, follow-up and reporting.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs, implements and leads Sybase recruitment programs, including but not limited to North America equal employment opportunity and affirmative action plans. Ensures complete and accurate equal employment opportunity and affirmative action reporting. Establishes and recommends changes to Sybase recruitment policies and practices. Works with Sybase staffing departments, corporate marketing and outside vendors to develop and implement an effective recruitment advertising campaign within available resources. Responsible for research, design, development and implementation of recruitment programs and projects as assigned.

Education and Related Experience:
Education – A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is normally required.

Experience – A minimum of 10 years recruiting related experience, preferably with some experience in the high technology as well as consultancy search are definite added advantages. Experience in recruitment program management for a company with divisionalized business units is preferred. Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to work well under pressure and with a strong customer service orientation are necessary.

Problem Solving/Judgment and Decision Making:
Problem Solving/Judgment – Works on complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Decision Making – Incumbent normally provides information, assistance and recommendations which are used in the group management decision-making process. Inaccurate decisions may cause critical delays in program implementation and negatively impact recruitment efficiency.

Supervision:
Supervision Required – Minimal supervision required. Must exercise discretionary judgement.

Supervision Given – May manage or lead the activities of other Recruiting professionals. May serve as a project leader on cross-functional or inter-departmental teams.

Contacts:
May interact with senior management where interactions normally involve the presentation of information. Other interactions involve matters between functional areas, other divisions or business units and outside agencies or vendors. Acts as liaison on specific projects between departments and corporate staffing, and between departments and candidates. Interactions involve matters of importance where maintaining effective working relationships is a prime concern to the department objective.
