INTERNATIONAL POWER MITSUI OPERATION&MAINT IND,PT

International Power Mitsui Operations & Maintenance Indonesia (IPMOMI) a subsidiary of International Power Mitsui LLP, and a world leader in the development of co-generation and independent power plants, is assigned to manage, operate and maintain coal fired power plant located in Paiton, Probolinggo East Java, (Phase 1-unit 7 & 8), owned by PAITON ENERGY.

In relation with the future requirements which are due to development of the company operations, we are seeking qualified Indonesian professionals to fill the post of :

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for planning directing and controlling the activities involved in the project management of major capital projects and shutdown projects and to provide expertise which will allow for effective result in terms of project objectives (time, cost, quality, safety) within Paiton Unit 7 and Unit 8 Power Station.
Duties and responsibilities amongst other are : Developing and preparing project implementation plans; Providing project cost plans and cost controls; Compilation of project contract inquiry documentation, analysis of tenders and provision of recommendation for placement of contract award; Establish the scope of work, resources (manpower, equipment, material, services) required for the project together with management of change requests; Development and preparing of project programs in Gantt chart type and the other various format indicating starting dates milestone dates and completion dates of all project related activities. Coordinate the resolution of project execution and warranty period.
The candidate should have a University degree (S1) Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent with up to 8 years working experience in a large modern Power Station or similar industry; have good oral and written English communication skills. Professional Engineering Registration progress towards registration is preferred. A good working knowledge of power station plant, maintenance practices and project management capital and maintenance shutdown project.
