SENIOR / PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER Manufacturing Integration Technology Ltd

We are a Singapore public-listed company specializing in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of automated equipment for the semiconductor industry.

SENIOR / PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Design and develop PC Based control software for automated equipment for the semiconductor industry through the full software development lifecycle.
Design Server/Client software based on SEMI SECS/GEM standards for these equipments.
Implement CIP (Continuous Improvement Program) for existing and new products.
Manage and lead a team of software engineers to deliver superior products.

Requirements:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or relevant qualifications.
At least 8 years’ experience in designing and developing control software in Windows (NT, 2K, XP & Vista) environment.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in VC++, MFC, .NET and SQL Programming.
Good knowledge and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Good knowledge in developing multi-threaded control software.
Good knowledge of SEMI SECS/GEM equipment connectivity standard.
Good knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Experience in using and controlling Servo Motors, Servo/Stepper Motion Controller, Analog Devices and High Speed I/O.
Have a strong passion for control software design and development and love technical challenges.
Willing to play multiple roles: manage and lead the team, excellent team player, mentor engineers, do development work as well as constantly look out for new processes to achieve greater efficiencies in developing quality products.
Can master any new technologies, programming languages or design concept.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Believe that simplicity is a pre-requisite for reliability products.
Have good communication skills.
