We are a Singapore public-listed company specializing in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of automated equipment for the semiconductor industry.

SENIOR / PRINCIPAL MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities :

Design and develop machine to meet the system specifications (required by process/automation needs) involving:

Design standardisation
Costing and project planning.
Machine and module conceptualisation design
Design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA) and Concurrent engineering
Pneumatic/hydraulic circuit design.
Detail fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings.
Selection and sizing of standard components available off the shelf.

Requirements :

Bachelors / Master of Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience
3D Solid Modeling, preferably Pro-E (others like Solid Edge, AutoInventor, Mechanical Desktop, Solid Designer are also acceptable).
Good track record in:
o Ultra High Precision machine design
o High Speed Pick and place mechanism design
o Structural, kinematics and dynamic analysis and FEA simulation
o Geometrical tolerance and dimensional analysis. (e.g. stack up error)
o Engineering material selection
o Design troubleshooting.
o Application of analysis tools like FMEA, DOE
