Senior Piping Engineer (Stationed in Jakata/Batam)

Responsibilities

Lead the piping team on projects responsibility and to ensure that all piping work is completed in respect of budget, schedule and quality.
Develop piping activities for conceptual design/detailed design work.
Prepare Job Specification, piping standards and design instructions dedicated to the projects.
Co-ordinate with other disciplines and interface with clients on technical issues.
Provide technical review related to piping at all phases of the projects.
Review isometrics, pipe support details and material take off.
Co-ordinate within piping design team on technical issues and train less experienced piping engineers.
Monitor and track installation data packages from construction inspectors.
Prepare Request for Quotation and perform Technical Bid Evaluation for vender offered piping materials.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical engineering.
Minimum 8 years piping engineering design experience in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and related industries.
Good working knowledge of ANSI/ASME Code.
Stress Analysis experience is an added advantage.
3D modeling design software experience (PDMS and PDS is an advantage).
