SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER (Financial Operations) DOCOMO INTERTOUCH PTE. LTD.

We are now seeking suitably qualified individual to fill the following position to be based in SINGAPORE :

SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER (Financial Operations)

The Senior Finance Manager is a key player in a global finance team, with the following key responsibilities:

Managing partially-centralized payables, billing and receivable functions from corporate office in Singapore, with a direct team.
Managing the standard setting of the global financial operations processes in 8 sub-regions (South Pacific, North Asia, Indochina, Greater China, South East Asia, India, EMEA and Americas)
Driving the financial operations process in the global roll-out of Oracle. This includes managing the transitional processes for “day-to-day business” required in 2009.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND COVERAGE

Oracle Roll-out

Managing the Oracle roll-out for Financial Operations in 4 phases throughout the region until September 2009. This requires global co-ordination but will be wholly Singapore based. Travel is not expected.
Managing a team of 3 trained Oracle Super-users in AP, AR and Cash Management, assisting in the
Managing the transitional processes required for “day to day” business while parallel running between legacy system and Oracle.

Global Financial Operations

Drive consistency in the AP and AR process, both from a system and presentation perspective while complying with local tax and legal regulations.
Spearhead process improvement to enhance control, productivity and scalability.
Enforce operational compliance, working closely with the Financial Control, Reporting and Procurement functions.

Partially-Centralized Transactional Processes

Accounts Payable

Manage accounts payable (AP) team through AP supervisor. Responsible for all accounts payable matters, including timely and accurate month end close, payment review, vendor issue resolution.

Accounts Receivable

Oversee the billing and collection team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection
Verify billings data and system (manual and partially automated) reconciliation
Manage DSO to KPI and work closely with regional sales directors and legal counsels to pursue payment on aged debts
Provide leadership and operational oversight in revenue assurance and collection risk mitigation

PRE-REQUISITIES :

Degree holder with min 8 years finance operations (including financial IT) experience in a MNC, at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Experience with Oracle, system integration and change management will be a great advantage
A team player with determination to succeed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work confidently with senior managers and external stakeholders
Experience supporting global operations preferred
