Senior Executive (Management Development) – Civil Service College
Civil Service College (CSC) Singapore is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. We are the central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and we play a pivotal role in partnering government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first class public service.
CSC brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning.
Through our programmes and services, CSC aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for the Singapore Public Service.
Senior Executive (Management Development)
You will design, implement and evaluate milestone programmes for Public Sector Leaders on governance, public policy and leadership. You will work closely with public policy experts to shape the content of programme sessions. You will also be required to develop and apply innovative learning methodologies to maximise learning effectiveness and be involved in upfront classroom facilitation to consolidate key learning for participants. In addition, you will need to evaluate the effectiveness of milestone programmes and make recommendations for improvement as well as to develop post-programme interventions for continual learning and development of programme alumni.
You should have:
- Good written and communication skills
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Keen interest in the area of Training and Development and in public policy
- Professionalism and confidence in dealing with senior public officers
- Good Degree from a recognised university with at least 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in the learning and development and/or policy development field
