Civil Service College (CSC) Singapore is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. We are the central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and we play a pivotal role in partnering government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first class public service.

CSC brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning.

Through our programmes and services, CSC aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for the Singapore Public Service.

Senior Executive (Centre for Governance and Leadership Publications)

You will be responsible for managing the publications of books, journals, monographs, and proceedings arising from Centre for Governance and Leadership (CGL)’s programmes such as conferences, seminars, roundtables. You will work with CGL and CSC officers to identify, liaise and solicit articles and write-ups from content experts in the Singapore Public Service, academia and other subject matter experts on public sector governance. You will coordinate with the appointed publishers to produce and distribute the publications in an efficient and timely manner.

You should have:

• Informed and inquisitive spirit with a keen interest in and broad knowledge of local and global public sectors, over a wide range of issues
• Excellent command of the English language, with an ability to edit and write good articles for a senior readership
• Ability to interact with and manage current and potential writers and coordinate publication process in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good Degree from a recognised university with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the Public Service and/or publishing firms preferred
