Yau Lee Construction (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is a newly established construction company with the full support of its parent company. Yau Lee Holdings Ltd. (“the Group”), which is publicly listed in Hong Kong since 1991.
As a core subsidiary of the Group Yau Lee Construction Co. Ltd. found in 1958, is prominent in building construction, fitting-outs, maintenance, renovation, design and build of building projects. The Company has been the main contractor for a large number of contracts for various private developers and government institutions.
The Group is also engaged in other businesses relating to building construction and has over two thousands of staff in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and Singapore. Yau Lee also produces precast elements and is one of the largest precaster in Hong Kong.
Besides the solid business foundation in Hong Kong, the Company is also progressive in strategic business developments in Macau, Singapore and The United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Senior Engineer/ Construction Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in project planning and to coordinate and oversee all works on site
- Monitor and coordinate the works of Foremen
- Coordinate the inspection of works by Resident Engineer and/or Clerk-of-works
- Handling of technical and engineering problems
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, programming and monitoring of construction works progress
- Liaison with client’s representatives and consultants
- Responsible for works in a designated section of the site
- Supervise and check sub-contractors works
- Assist Quantity Surveyor in measuring the works done
- In-charge of receipt of construction and building materials, plant and machinery
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent and recognized by Professional Engineers (PE) Board
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in public (HDB) and private residential projects.
- Speaks English and Cantonese
- Work Site (Mon – Sat) at Marina Bay Sands
