SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/BUSINESS ANALYST

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing all management reports. You will assist the management team in budget/forecast preparation and the consolidation there-of as well as preparing site feasibility studies. You will analyse data explaining variances against budget and/or forecast/plan as well as preparing any other ad-hoc financial requests.
In addition, you will be responsible for the supervision of the General Ledger team for the Group. You will be required to identify and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency as well as ensuring all financial reporting is timely.

Requirements

Degree qualified with at least 5 years post-graduate management accounting experience (FMCG or retail preferred). Those with Big 4 audit or business services experience are welcome to apply.
Possess advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills. Working knowledge of Oracle Financials is essential (Hyperion Essbase and Cognos preferred).
A self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in a team.
Possess excellent English skills – both written and verbal.
Strong problem solving and organisational skills – prepared to challenge the status quo.
