DX Assays Pte Ltd – a QIAGEN/ Bio* One Capital joint venture, developing assays for the molecular diagnostic market seeks innovative self-starters interested in the fast-growing field of molecular diagnostics. We offer a team-based atmosphere with highly motivated individuals in a start-up environment. The organization will grow to approximately 30 full-time employees within two years.

Scientist/ Senior Scientist

Works with a team of research associates to develop, optimize & modify diagnostic assay systems.

Responsibilities:

• Development of molecular diagnostic tests
• Planning & execution of experiments in a molecular biology laboratory
• Documentation/Reporting according to ISO13485

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in molecular biology or related technology/subject
• Hands-on technical expertise with DNA & RNA isolation methods & real-time PCR
• Fluency in English language (oral and written)
• Verifiable presentation & communication skills
• Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field in a university or industry setting
• Excellent organizational skills & personal accountability
• Experience working in a BSL2 environment preferred
• Experience working under ISO9001/ISO13485 preferred
• Experience in operation and maintenance of precision instruments preferred
• Leadership experience preferred
