Consumer magazine publisher (TIMEcraft, BUSINESScraft, et al) is seeking the following:

SALES MANAGER

Duties:

Advertising sales role involving face to face presentations to clients varying from major brand managers and media planners in advertising agencies to small retailers and business entrepreneurs. Increasingly, the role requires a high standard of consultative account management with clients, researching their business needs and desires in order to present bespoke product offerings. A good working relationship with the editorial team, production and other departments at Beaumont Publishing is also expected

Specifically:

Achieve monthly, bi-monthly and annual targets as set by management, and where possible exceed them
Work closely with the rest of the team brainstorming new ideas and helping to develop new offerings
Develop and maintain a sound working knowledge of the print media market in Singapore, and follow clients’ activities in particular
Keep accurate records of all advertising business and update client contacts on an ongoing basis
Visit clients regularly and produce timely and articulate written proposals following client meetings
Provide timely reports for management as required, to include strategy reports and information on the competition
Nurture positive working relationships with the rest of the Beaumont team including production, editorial, sales and marketing
Respect company policies

Requirements:

Proven experience in advertising sales, although experience in general sales may be considered
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
Previous experience in face to face client presentations
Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and client contact database preferable
Presentable, outgoing and articulate
Team player, assertive yet with sense of humour
Knowledge of luxury brands an advantage

Full-time, permanent position
Salary commensurate with experience
