Elephant & Coral was established in 1996 as a small pen boutique in Holland Village, Singapore. The name “Elephant & Coral” is derived from a place in London, Elephant & Castle, where the founder spent some of his years of education in England.

Elephant & Coral is a leader in the retail and wholesale business of fine writing instruments from all over the world – including rare collectibles – and fine desk accessories. In our endeavour to bring forth a different writing experience to our customers, we have successfully launched our first limited-edition fountain pen and rollerball pen “The Saints” in 2004 with a unique design created and sold exclusively in our boutiques.

The success of “The Saints” collection is unprecedented, fuelling the inspiration for two further collections, namely “The Noto Nogoro” and “Seki-Shun” in 2004 and 2005 respectively.

In 2003, we expanded overseas by opening our first flagship store in Jakarta – PT Elephant & Coral PenCo Indonesia in Plaza Indonesia. And we are pleased to announce that we have in November 2007 opened a new branch in Raffles Place, Singapore in the heart of the financial district and to be nearer to the up-and-coming integrated resort.

Retail Boutique Sales Associate

Requirements:

• $1400 – $2200 (inclusive of commission)
• Annual bonus of up to 4 months
• 1 Sunday and 1 Saturday off per month
• GCE ‘A’ level or equivalent with credit in English
• Graphic Design experience is advantageous
• Great personality, love to smile
• Customer service experience & admin skills
• Lots of initiative, independent cum team player
• Working knowledge of MS Office & Internet
