R&D Engineer

The Job:

You will be responsible for playing a key role in extrusion process & optimization, new product formulations with high performance engineering thermoplastics and processing of nano-size additives/fillers. You will also support sales/market managers in product recommendations for the electrical/electronics, medical, healthcare and automotive industries.

Requirements:

Degree or Master in Polymer Science/Technology/ Materials Science/ Chemical Engineering or related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in handling extruders and ancillary equipment; extrusion process and optimization; formulation & compounding of high performance thermoplastics materials & nano-size additives. Knowledgeable in computing extrusion specific heat; etc.
A team player with good analytical & scientific skills in development work, self- motivated and resourceful.
