The expanding manufacturing in Batam PT. UWATEC BATAM specializes in diving equipment, well known under the brands SCUBAPRO and UWATEC is recruiting the following position:

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

This role is accountable for the Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Regulatory compliance for the Batam facility. The incumbent provides a participative leadership role to insure quality control methods, and procedures are deployed and adhered to, to ensure consistent product quality and maximum operational efficiency. In addition they are to ensure minimal environmental, health and safety implications while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in electrical, mechanical, process engineering or related field
3 – 7 years QA management experience
Internal Audit experience
Certified Quality Mgr is preferred
SPC, ISO/9002, Advanced degree MBA is preferred
Experience in a matrix global US organization is an advantage
Fluent in English and Indonesia Language
Computer literate
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
