Quality Assurance – Lead

POSITION PURPOSE

As an important member of Global Development Team, you will be responsible for ensuring all modules, and releases meet highest quality standards. Lead and manage the testing team for designing and implementation of QA processes for Equinix’s systems

JOB FUNCTIONS

Work closely with Tech Leads to understand requirements, generate test cases and ensure all releases are meet highest quality
Create automated test suites for QA processes for Equinix’s ERP, Portal and reporting tools
Develop comprehensive test plans
Track quality defects and ensure they are resolved
Create or acquire automated regression suites and testing tools for all internal and customer facing applications
Create defect reporting process and present quality status to the team
Knowledge of Oracle (11i or R12) and Portal applications is preferred
Coordinate with tech leads and provide detail testing schedules
Ability to work with Global teams across the world (in different time zones), conduct peer reviews, design reviews, and code reviews
Ability to work efficiently as a team player or as a self-supervised / managed person
Mentor and manage QA engineers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or above, Major in Computer Science is preferable
Extensive experience with software testing and software test tools in a commercial environment
At least 5+ years of testing experience
Should be familiar with Oracle 11i or R12 and have worked on or tested these modules GL, AR, AP, FA, Advance Pricing, BOM, Inv, PR/PO, Service Contracts, Quote, Service Request, and Installbase modules.
Familiar testing tools, regression and stress testing tools
Must possess strong hands-on knowledge with Test Tools ( for example Quality Center, QTP, LoadRunner)
