Purchasing Officer

Jobs & Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and purchasing of materials/equipment related to production and facilities.
• Purchasing for technical items such as jig & tooling fabrication timely to support production needs.
• Achieve cost reduction target through negotiation with vendors, or qualification of alternate materials / equipment
• Build strong rapport with suppliers and internal customers.
• Must be able to work independently.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years experiences in Purchasing.
• Good knowledge in Purchasing and negotiation skill
• Good knowledge of material properties that comply with environmental needs
• Experiences in handling local and oversea suppliers/vendor.
• Able to read technical drawings
• Familiar with SAP

General Requirements:

• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Speak and write English fluently.
• Be computer literate in the area of operational requirements.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
