PURCHASING MANAGER THE SINGAPORE ISLAND COUNTRY CLUB

Suitably qualified candidates are invited to join us as:

PURCHASING MANAGER

Reporting to Director of Finance, the successful incumbent is responsible to oversee the Club’s procurement function such as preparation of bid requests via quotations, tenders or Request for Quotes (RFQs), based on established policies and procedures.

He/she will direct the development and execution of cost-effective procurement strategies, in support to the business goals and objectives of the Club and reviews various financial results/reports to monitor the overall procurement performance and implement corrective actions that may be required.

Pre-requisites:

Diploma qualification in Purchasing or equivalent
5 – 8 years’ relevant experience in purchasing functions, particularly in F&B. With at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial capacity
Good understanding in fundamentals for purchasing
Good negotiating skills and ability to source widely
Good interpersonal and effective communication skills
PC literate and ability to create and analyze reports
Able to work independently and under pressure
