Purchaser Global Industries Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Global Industries provides offshore construction, engineering and support services including pipeline construction, platform installation and removal, and diving services to the oil and gas industry.

Purchaser

Responsibilities:

Determining with the SCM, Project Managers (with others as approriate) forms of contract and schedule for procuring equipment and materials focused at meeting the Projects / Tender overall schedule and profitability
Vendor pre-qualification & maintaining database
Ensuring the Purchasing activities and deliverables are undertaken in accordance with agreed schedules / milestones
Provide progress report and purchasing data
Compliance with the Group SCM Policies, Procedures, Systems and requirements contained within the Management System
Establish Master Service / Frame Agreements for general supplies
Providing regular and accurate status on the progress of the activities by means of appropriate reports
Effective deployment and use of the approved suite of systems and tools, to aid efficiency and effectiveness of the activities

Requirements:

Experience in Supply Chain Management e.g. Institutional & project engineering purchase and preferably in the Offshore Marine Construction Industry
Understands the dynamics of Project execution and the execution of Purchasinging in support of these
Typically acquired through 3 to 4 years of experience and knowledge of Purchasing, with relevant professional and educational qualifications
Networks with other Managers to gain insights, lessons learnt and share their experience and best practice
