Octopustravel.com is an innovative on-line travel company with offices worldwide offering discounted hotels in 121 countries, apartments, sightseeing tours, our own travel guides and other travel related services.

Our Singapore office, based at the Clifford Centre is seeking a Publisher to join our Marketing Team.

The role primarily focuses on publishing web content (copy and image), the loading of content to a web environment and the sourcing and resizing of images.

Other responsibilities will include:

Exercise quality control on all content and ensure usability is maintained
Work with the Content Team and Web Content Manager to ensure content style is kept consistent with brand guidelines
Ensure that the overall Master catalogue structure is maintained

Being the ideal candidate you will possess:

Experience with a photo editing package such as Adobe Photoshop
Experience with web content management systems will be advantageous

Additional skills and knowledge requirements include:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self motivated with a keen enthusiasm for and demonstrable understanding of the Web industry and technologies
Ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects at one time and to ensure that tight deadlines are met
Meticulous with a strong sense of urgency, responsible for great looking and usable content
The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across a culturally diverse business
