The School of Materials Science and Engineering (http://www.mse.ntu.edu.sg/) is embarking on major collaborative programmes with local and foreign research institutions and companies.

Applications are invited for appointment to the following position:

Project Officer in Surface Chemistry and Contact Mechanics

You will monitor and perform the planned activities of the assigned research project. You will provide support and validate the safety procedures and ensure that they are carried out in accordance to safety guidelines and policies. In addition, you will also be required to provide support in the setting up of lab facilities, research studies and project collaborations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess:-

• Bachelor’s Degree (2nd upper and above) in Materials Science/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in working with Surface Analytical Instruments is preferred.
• An independent, resourceful and self-motivated person.
• Good command of oral and written English.

The candidate is expected to enroll in NTU Ph.D programme as a part-time student.

Salary will be attractive, and commensurate with experience.
