Novexx is a integrated Engineering and Recruitment solutions company specializing in the Oil & Gas, Petrochem and Pharmaceuticals industries. We are the main contractor for these MNCs. We are constantly recruiting for ourselves as well as representing numerous MNCs in their recruitment drive.

Currently, our clients have the following opening:

Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design and modify mechanical equipment/piping systems for improved operational processes.
Execute plant modification projects and new installation of equipment/facility to improve plant efficiency and safety to meet business needs and operations.
Develop detailed project cost estimates, schedules and provide periodical project status updates associated to safety and quality.
Prepare bidding documents and bid evaluation; plan and monitor project schedules, cost estimates and manage contractors.
Develop and execute mechanical testing and validation procedures (with the quality team) by studying test requirements and operating methods, and soliciting observations from relevant parties.
Liaise with Professional Engineers, Consultants and Government bodies on any planning and submission requirement.
Drive and implement continuous improvements to enhance project execution, efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Project Management, preferably in the pharmaceutical/chemical industry.
Knowledge of various codes of practice such as ASME, ANSI, NFPA and local CPs is essential.
Experience in MS Project, equipment design and construction process.
Working knowledge of cGMP, regulatory requirements related to safety and validation process is an advantage.
Team player with initiative, excellent planning, project management and communication skills.
Proven problem-solving ability, customer-focused and able to work across functional teams at multiple levels within the organization.
