Production Planner

Reporting to Head of Production Planning

The Job:

• Pre-planning of production orders with sales department
• Scheduling and controlling of production orders
• Optimization of production schedules
• Shop-floor control
• Ensuring production and shipment schedules
• Production capacity planning and analysis
• Checking of product feasibility
• Production and process data maintenance (BOM, Routing, Machine Data)
• Coordination and communication between production, sales and quality departments
• Improvement of the Production Planning Process and Tools in use

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing) or related fields
• Preferable 3 -4 years of experience in production planning and capacity planning in the metal
• Manufacturing environment; and/or metal rolling and metal slitting production processes
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office user
• Good experience with SAP PP and SAP MM
• Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), MRP/ERP/MES systems
• Good English written and verbal communication
