Product Manager – Infrastructure, APAC

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement TANDBERG Infrastructure Products in the region
o Full life cycle handling for given product line
o Commercial Product Specialization
Be the expert on infrastructure products and solutions, provide recommendations to TANDBERG customers and ensure high internal competence in the region
Work with entire Theatre Product Management team to promote solution in Theatre
Assist and perform selected Professional Services and Advanced training sessions facilitated by TANDBERG University
Set up and ensure professional demonstrating facilities and work with product launches in region
Support internal resources to create sales opportunities and to establish proper product distribution in Asia Pacific
Drive revenue of product line in region by engaging in selected major accounts and projects in the pre-sales phase
Develop and drive NDA process

Experience/qualifications:

Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related disciplines; MBA is an added advantage
Extensive experience in Major Account technical relationship management
7 years or above experience in sales engineering, product management and/or technical consultancy fields
Proficient in Visual Communication Industry (such as MCU, Gateway and Video Endpoint technology) for an international organization is an advantage
Knowledge on data/voice/video over IP, such as H.323 and SIP, preferably knowledge on Gatekeepers and Firewall traversal
Proficient in router and network products setup, management and application sharing, etc.
Strong presentation and consultation skills, decisive and independent
Excellent problem solving skills with high integrity and interpersonal communication skills
Fluent in English (Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Japanese will be an added advantage)
Traveling within the Asia Pacific region is required
