Product Designer

Responsibilities

Work alongside other departments to conceptualize, design and layout of optical product designs and accessories.
Support general design needs of the company, including some knowledge of media, publishing, website, exhibition, Store Visual Images
To prepare, plan and conduct design research
To be able to think out of box and work under tight deadlines
Liaise with the client to understand their design requirements
Ability to gather market research/trends.

Qualification

Minimum 2 – 5 years experience from branding / design / advertising firms
Graphic Design Degree or Diploma holder
Good multi-tasker
Strong design portfolio
Proficiency in Design/Multimedia Software – Photoshop, Freehand, Indesign and Illustrator (dreamweaver and flash are optional)
Demonstrated ability to achieve deadlines while paying attention to design details
Able to adapt to changing priorities, and comfortable working within fast-paced environment
Attention to detail& great eye for design
Strong communication skills; able to articulate, defend and present creative ideas
Travel occasionally needed.
