The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Pte. Limited is seeking a self-driven individual who is highly motivated and committed to join us in the following role.

Producer/Editor

We are looking for a senior editor with considerable experience in non-linear editing. This person would act as the Singapore representative for the Australia/New Zealand channel. This is a technical, not a creative position.

Responsibilities:

Digitise and re-version promo bases for a variety of DC and PHD programming
Re-version promo beds adding relevant graphics, and voice-over for Australia/New Zealand markets
Localise DTVs and US Interstitials
Some re-editing of programming material to make it suitable for Aus/NZ markets
Re-write scripts with new day/time information. There will be times when script re-writes will be needed
Supervise voice over sessions and liaise with Australia Creative team to arrange ISDN audio bookings
Liaise with internal Singapore departments to satisfy a variety of Australian programming and promotion requests
Meet all on-air standards as requested by Aus Creative and Programming Managers

Requirements:

Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Avid or Final Cut editing to a high standard (able to work with multiple layers and good eye for graphics and kerning)
Self-starter; will take the initiative and apply the DC and PHD style guides accurately
Excellent attention to detail
Great time-management and organisation skills: able to plan production time, book VO sessions, edit sessions etc.
Excellent communication skills – able to solve problems with relevant people in Australia
Calm under pressure
Can-do attitude. Will find innovative ways to solve problems
