SMITECH was first incorporated in Singapore in October 1986 for Pump Engineering and Trading Business. Then in 2001, TORISHIMA MALAYSIA SDN BHD was established in partnership with Torishima Japan and with a local malaysian partner.

In 2004, Torishima Japan became a 21% shareholder in SMITECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD. In the same year, we had a regional technical and service collaboration with Torishima Japan, Torishima Indonesia and Torishima Malaysia.

The focus is on providing integrated systems for water and waste treatment projects, particularly in Singapore and the Asean region, by tapping into leading-edge technologies and expertise sourced from specialist manufacturers worldwide.

Procurement/Contract administrator

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Commercial/Negotiation with Sub-Contractors/Suppliers.
  • Procurement of M&E Equipment
  • Contract Administrator
  • Preparation of M&E tender proposal and costing for projects
  • Knowledge of S.O.P Act, PSCOC & SIA Contract will be very much preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Minimum 4-5 years experience.
