Principal Accountant – Financial Accounting

Location : Singapore

Key Responsibilities

Assure integrity of financial information timely and accurately
Administer Procedures and Policies to ensure timely and systematic analysis of financial information
Review E&O and other variances are properly analyze and validated.
Responsible for overseeing the successful execution of credit and collection function in accordance with company policies
Assure internal control reviews are in order and issues are closed timely
Ensure all reporting requirements are complete and met in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with Corporate accounting policies and local statutory financial requirements
Liaise with auditors (internal audit), bank, customers, etc
Co-ordinate internal audit
Develop and implement procedures and systems for internal control
Identify improvement opportunities and develops timely action plans relating to on-going month-end closing
Involve in Special assignments & projects

Key Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent or with 3 years of financial accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, 2 year of which is dedicated to costing of books and consolidation of Financials.
Diploma in Accountancy with 6 years of financial accounting experience, 3 year of which are delicated to closing of books and consolidation of Financials in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Aggressive, team player and excellent interpersonal skill
Conversant with Microsoft Office, SAP and Hyperion
Working knowledge of ERP in a manufacturing environment
