Press and Die Set Operators Sunstar Engineering Pte Ltd

Sunstar Engineering Pte Ltd, headquartered in Singapore, is a Japanese MNC specializing in motorcycle sprockets and brake disk sprockets. Due to the business expansion, we are currently looking for reliable, self-motivated and committed individual to join our dynamic team for the Press and Die Set operators.

Press and Die Set Operators (x 3)

(Malaysians are most welcome)

(Singapore – West-Transportation provided)

Responsibilities:

Involve in operating, setting up, troubleshooting and maintenance of press and die set machines
Ensure mold products are manufactured correctly based on specific dimensions and capable of changing dies and making adjustments to die cutter
Getting raw materials ready for production
Doing packing jobs
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in the production area
Proper housekeeping and maintenance of production equipment
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

NTC 3 in metal or precision engineering or min GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ levels or SPM equivalent with 1 year progressive press and die set maintenance related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
Singaporean, PR Holders or Malaysians. Fresh school leavers will also be considered.
Must be able to perform rotating shift work.
40 hours work week, 5 days a week (Extra are considered OT).
Ability to speak and understand basic English.
Able to handle & read Mitutoyo Micrometer and Vernier Caliper.
Good measurements and inspection skills is a plus.
Those with the following experience in Aida Press Machine Operation will be an added advantage:
Able to read 3rd Angle Drawing.
Experience in 5S working environment.
