We are currently seeking qualified, highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join us as:

Personalisation Engineer

Overall purpose of job

Responsible for technical support in relation to personalization including functional and operational capabilities.

Main activities / tasks

Act as an interface between Software development, Technical Consultants and Production
Be responsible for producing sample cards in the course of order tendering and development phase.
Ensure the installation and test of new software package (data processing, machine or controller software), related to a product release or new product / customer in coordination with software development
Provide operational support to the production group to help to rectify problems occurring during new product testing and production process.
Provide training to production staff with regards to new production process and procedure implementation.
To assist and coordinate new products and projects with regards to chip personalization and related industrialization in the plant.

Knowledge and skills

Good project management skills and technical background

Education, qualifications, and special training

Educated to Engineering Degree Level with an Information technology or computing Degree. The jobholder should be familiar with computing languages as C, Visual Basic and databases Oracle, Access. Knowledge of OS2 is a plus.

Experience

At least 3-5 years working experience in a technical field in manufacturing, experience in coordinating project industrialization in plant and procedure implementation.

Personality requirements

Self-motivated, the Personalization engineer should be flexible and detail oriented; should posses excellent relational and interpersonal skills in order to communicate clearly and efficiently at all levels within the organization and externally with customers.
Possess initiative
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
