Oracle – Senior Developer (CRM, Rev Ops and Financials)

POSITION PURPOSE

As part of the Global Development Team, you will be handling development of major modules for Equinix’s Oracle System (R12/11i). You should be an expert in Quoting, TeleService and Financials modules. Working closely with Technical Leads you will develop detail design document, implement and unit test the modules

JOB FUNCTIONS

Implement major components of Equinix’s ERP System (on Oracle R12/11i)
Understand high-level design and convert them into detail design documents
Show excellent knowledge in all Oracle modules, and Oracle’s public APIs to build custom applications/UI on top of Oracle modules
Implement interfaces with backend defined by the team lead
Perform unit testing and ensure integration test are done, before handing over to QA teams
Improve the efficiency of current system/process by either automating systems or suggesting alternate ways to make them better, to bring more efficiency to both customers as well as internal staff
Assist team lead in requirement gathering sessions, handle user requests, issues, bugs and minor enhancements (requests/escalations from first level support teams)
Use of best practices for Source Code Management, Build and Deploy processes.
Show strong technical and analytical skills on problem solving skills and ability to work efficiently as a team player or as a self-supervised / managed person

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or above, Major in Computer Science is preferable
6+ years experience in Software Development
At least 4+ years of working experience in Oracle EBS, and involved and implemented live projects
Should be extremely well-versed in Oracle Quoting, Service Contracts, Service Request, GL, AR, AP, FA, PR/PO, Inventory, & Installbase modules. Familiarity with SFA tool either SalesForce.com or Siebel CRM on demand
Well versed in PL-SQL, developing stored procedures and packages. Very knowledgeable in FND, JTF technologies of Oracle.
Implementing Oracle customizations using forms or API or defining of interfaces to external applications is preferred
Familiar with SCM, Build and Deploy processes
