China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following position:

Operation Executive

Role & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the concluded physical cargoes. Carry out all physical cargoes operational matters including scheduling, cargo tracking, insurance arrangement (if necessary), documentation, surveyor appointment instructions and daily coordination with sellers and buyers as well as any ad-hoc requirements raised by customer.
Liaise closely with inspectors, receivers, suppliers, ship-owner (if FOB-CFR) as well as loading port and discharge port’s agents daily for timely latest updated information to ensure smooth and operation-free delivery from loading port to discharge port.
To work closely with inter-departments to ensure each transaction is carried out timely, accurately and professionally.
Handle all documentation requirements especially in areas relating to LC where close co-ordination with Banks, Trading and Finance departments are essential.
Provide support on shipping and shipping related matters (vessel vetting/nomination and vessel confirmation, pre & post fixture followup / co-ordination).
Verify related operational fees such as inspection expenses, freight invoice, cargo invoice and marine cargo insurance whenever necessary.
Pro-active to interact with market participants including inspection surveyors, shipping companies, brokers and bankers.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience in oil-related / energy trading industry. Ability to handle jet fuel shipments will be an added advantage.
Diploma/Degree with knowledge in LC & shipping documentation.
Independent, meticulous and self-motivated individual who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office.
Bilingual in both English & Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Ability to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
